Get Involved Today
Join us in creating memorable school trips by applying for your visit with ease.
How It Will Work
Schools will decide on where they would like to visit and when
and complete the application form on the website.
Schools will be asked to provide as much detail as possible including the purpose of their visit,
a choice of three dates, preferred train times, how many pupils will be travelling (up to 30 per trip),
and if they require support with additional DBS checked adults.
The form will be processed by the admin team behind the project and if all basic checks are completed.
It will be passed to the appropriate rail company for tickets to be issued.
You can visit any station across the UK however why not visit one of our Community Rail Partnership Station and support their work towards the national rail services.
Avoid Rejection
All stations on the network can only be visited once, so please check the website map to make sure that the station you wish to visit has not already been allocated to another school.
Be as flexible as possible! Providing a good range of days and times will mean that the Train Operating Company will be more likely to honour your request.
Do not request for more than 30 pupils to travel at one time.
Respond to any queries raised as quickly as possible.
What we ask of you as part of your visit
Take as many photographs as possible, including at least one of the group with the station name sign.
Create a small piece of written or creative work on one piece of A3 paper to represent your
journey which will be displayed at the station after the visit, alongside the TOC HQ.
Make a Short-Form video whilst at the station.
All of these are to be emailed to the admin team within 1 week of the trip taking place.
